The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has issued a notice for the recruitment of 354 male candidates for MSW, Vehicle Mechanic, and Driver vacancies in the General Reserve Engineer Force. Interested and qualified applicants should apply online.
Details of Border Roads Organisation Recruitment 2021 :
1. Multi Skilled Worker Painter:
No of vacancies: 33 nos [SC:6, ST:2, OBC:22, EWS:3]
Age Limit: 18-25 Years.
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
- Painter Certificate from Industrial Training Institute/Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training. Or Passed Class 2 course for painting as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations, for soldiers) from the office of Records/ Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
- Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
- Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
- Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
2. Multi Skilled Worker Mess Waiter (Current Backlog):
No of vacancies: 12 nos [UR:7, SC:4, EWS:1]
Age Limit: 18-25 Years.
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
- Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
- Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
- Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
3. Vehicle Mechanic:
No of vacancies: 293 nos [UR:121, SC:51, ST:28, OBC:64, EWS:29]
Age Limit: 18-27 Years.
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
- Possessing certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle/ Diesel/ Heat Engine. OR Possessing certificate of mechanic in internal Combustion Engine/ Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent; OR Having passed the Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute; or similar establishment of Defence or having passed Vehicle Mechanic Class II Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from the office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
4. Driver Mechanical Transport (OG):
No of vacancies: 16 nos [UR:8, ST:7, EWS:1]
Age Limit: 18-27 Years.
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
- Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving license; OR Having passed class III Course for Driver Plant Mechanical Transport as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from the office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Other Criteria of Border Roads Organisation Recruitment:
Gender: Only Male candidates need to apply. Female candidates need not to apply.
Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:-
(i) a citizen of India, OR
(ii) a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
