Details of Quantity Purchase Manager vacancy:

• Bachelor’s degree required (B. Com / B.Sc. is preferred)
• 10 – 15 Years of experience working in Real Estate / Building Construction and should have completed at least 2-3 projects in Building Construction
• He should have good negotiation skills, presentation & communication skills for effective coordination with all sites.

Skillset & Knowledge of an Purchase Manager for Protech Group:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Quantity Surveying Software, MS Office
• Knowledge of Contract documentation, Claim management and dispute resolution
• In depth of knowledge of materials, specifications, rates
• Knowledge of construction works including civil, structural

Roles & Responsibilities of Purchase Manager:

1. Collecting quotes from the Vendors along with all technical details & specifications.
2. Preparing Cost comparative statement along with technical details & specifications
3. After preparation of initial cost comparative statement, the purchase manager has to negotiate rates with the vendors to get the cheapest rate maintaining the desired quality and specifications of the materials
4. Taking management approval for awarding the Purchase Order to the shortlisted vendor / supplier
5. Follow up with Vendors for smooth and timely delivery of material (As per stock availability at site and site requirement)
6. Identify alternative / new products in the market, undertake cost -benefit analysis and present to the management.
7. Handle end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
8. Manage vendor data base and create relationships with new vendors and gather information about their performance from market.
9. Ensure that the indents received are processed as per agreed timelines and develop a mechanism to track delays and take necessary actions accordingly.
10. Effectively & efficiently follow up with the vendors for timely delivery of proposals, quotations and material supply.
11. Coordinate with the stores and respective project managers in matters of procurement.

Prepare Reports and MIS as per department requirements

12. Monitoring dead stocks at site stores and redistributing extra stock to other site before purchasing new materials.
