Details of Quality Assurance & Safety Engineer vacancy:

• B.E or B.Tech Or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 7 to 15 Years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance and Safety Engineer in Real Estate or Building construction.

Skillset & Knowledge of an Quality Assurance & Safety Engineer for Protech Group:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office
• Must have work experience in Quality Function in Real Estate / Construction industry of high repute
• Knowledge of high performance concrete and concrete mix design
• Experience in handling different types of shuttering and staging systems and latest technologies
• Knowledge of latest construction technologies and materials
• Good knowledge of finishing activities and aptitude to drive quality culture and customer satisfaction
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Documentation

Roles & Responsibilities of  Quality Assurance & Safety Engineer:

1. Monitoring Quality Assurance Quality Control activities of different project sites, Site inspection, selection and testing of construction materials
2. Ensuring supply of Quality Concrete by Mix design trials and Cost optimization of concrete.

Concrete mix design and finalization of concrete mixes

3. Interpretation of test results and taking final decision on acceptance of material
4. Finalization of rectification procedure and material
5. Experience in handling different types of shuttering and staging systems and latest technologies
6. Ensuring reduction in Non-Conformances in construction activities by improved monitoring, preventive and corrective action plan, developing and implementing improved specification, latest construction practices & technologies repairing technologies
7. Developing and implementing Quality Documents and formats, test procedures and technical procedures method statements and check lists for different activities at site
8. Generating quality reports and rating vendor and contractor’s performance with regards to quality and safety and communicate the same to concerned departments
9. Ensuring effective communication and coordination with different departments and satisfaction of internal and external customers.
10. Effective training of Site Engineers and supervisors, workmen, contractor’s supervisory staff etc. and development of training modules on Quality of materials.
11. Reduction in non-conformance and defects at site and improvement in Quality Rating of site resulting in Customer satisfaction rating (during possession)
12. Concrete mix design and finalization of concrete mixes.

A quality control & safety engineer should perform Material Check & Site inspection.

13. He/She should make presentations and is responsible for all kinds of quality documentation.
14. He should impart trainings to labours on Quality Control.
15. He is also responsible for doing Cross-Audits.
16. He/She should be able to track NCR.
