The State Level Police Recruitment Board of Assam has invited for the regular recruitment of 2,450 constables for the newly formed Assam Commando Battalions. Interested candidates can join the Assam Commando Battalion Recruitment should apply online through the Assam Police website.
Details of Commando Battalion Recruitment:
Name of Post : Constable (AB)
Total No of vacancies : 2,450 Posts ( OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% & ST(H) – 5%, EWS – 10% )
- Constable (AB) Male & Transgender: 2220 Posts
- Constable (AB) Female: 180 Posts
- Constable (AB) Nursing: 50 Posts
- Rs.14,000-60,500/-with Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have passed Class 10th or HSLC from government recognized board or university. In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.
Age Limit:
- Candidates’ age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 21 years as of 1st January 2021.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be as mentioned below.
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
- ST/SC: 5 Years
- Sportsperson: 3 Years
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen of India and a Permanent Resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration:
- The candidate must submit a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number while submitting the application for this recruitment.
