India Post GDS Age Limit:
✔️ 18 to 40 Years as on closing date.
✔️ The maximum age shall be relax-able by 03 years for OBC
and 05 years for SC / ST Category Candidates. For PWD (PH) Candidates –
Age Relaxation up to 10 years.
GDS Salary:
✔️ BPM – ₹ 12,000/- per month
✔️ ABPM/ DakSevak – ₹ 10,000/- per month
India Post GDS Qualification: Minimum 10th Class
(Matriculation) Pass from approved state boards by the respective State
Govt. / Central Govt. The Candidate passed Xth class examination in
first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed
compartmentally.
Computer Knowledge: Basic computer training
certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training
Institute. The Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/
University/ Boards etc., will also be acceptable for this purpose. This
requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relax able
in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Class X
or Class XII or higher educational qualification provided the candidate
submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational
qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject.
Gramin Dak Sevak Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Compulsory knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have
studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory
or elective subjects].
✔️ Knowledge of Cycling: Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts.
✔️ Adequate alternate means of Livelihood.
Post Office GDS Selection Process: The Selection will
be made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules
based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will
be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in
10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the
accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the
selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved
board norms is mandatory for taking candidate into account for
calculating the merit.
India post GDS Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 100/- for General and OBC category candidates. The fee is to be
paid by the applicants for all posts notified in the chosen Division.
✔️ The fee can be made through online only at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
✔️ No fee for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and Transwomen candidates.
How to Apply India Post GDS 2022: Eligible candidates who
desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in India
Post GDS Online Portal (indiapostgdsonline.gov.in) with all basic
details to obtain the Registration Number. Only one Registration is
allowed for one candidate for schedule 1 & 2 in a calendar Year. The
last date for submission of online applications is 05/06/2022.

not make any phone calls/SMS to the candidates for depositing any money.
Selected candidate is getting system generated SMS only for his
selection. The correspondence, if any, is made with candidates through
respective Recruiting authority only. Candidates are advised not to
disclose their registration number and mobile numbers and be guarded
against any unscrupulous phone calls.
